2004-10-06 - 11:25 a.m. So I suddenly found out that Chris and I along with our friend Jeff and his girlfriend are off to Boston for a weekend. We are leaving...Friday. I'm sure my new boss (Brad) wasn't to happy about the short notice, but I did warn him that this might happen this weekend before I even started as this is something that has been sorta talked about for a week or two. I am so excited. This is the first trip I have taken that wasn't a. with my family, b. going to visit family, c. to a place dictated by my family. I haven't traveled since Israel in 2001, plus this is my first trip ever with a boy. We're getting a nice hotel room *squeal!* paid for primarily by gift certificates to Marriot that I accumulated while selling T-Mobile. I can't wait to be able to sleep (and other things) on a queen sized bed instead of the ancient single mattress that we usually sleep on. Tommorrow I am going to be all high-strung and excited; I can't wait. P.S. This is a cool time to take a trip too, because October 15th is the anniversary of our first date... :)
